The unit of work has to be considered is the hardness of the material, for which it is necessary to apply a higher power to the laser equipment. On the contact surface with the beam there is a small chipping of the material, but unlike the engraving on the glass, this is much less noticeable. This way you can get very detailed products, especially photogravure.

Ceramics can be engraved in particular by removing the enamel layer from its surface. May have applications in personalizing cups or plates, but also personalizing gifts. If the contrast between the porcelain layer and the surface enamel is strong, the visibility is increased.
